- - - - Duties:
        
        To satisfy the basic learning needs of the subjects and of the society based on clear sociopolitical, cultural, economic, psychological, pedagogical, ethical and moral principles as well as the recognition of the importance of scientific, technological, humanistic knowledge; its generation, use and development.
- - - - It includes grades I II III IV V VI, and the age range is from 6 years to 11 years.
- - - - Develop the intellectual abilities that allow them to decode, incorporate, process, and transmit information in a critical way and by different means apply creative thinking and imagination in solving problems and in making decisions that allow them to assimilate changes and contribute to the process of social transformation in various orders.
        
        Rights and Duties Regime.
        
        Article 87. Everyone has the right to education and the responsibility to educate. The State organizes and directs the public service of national education and guarantees parents the right to participate in the educational process of their children.
        
        Higher University Education.
        
        The third level of education or higher is made up of postmedia education, non-university higher education and university higher education. Among the requirements that regulate higher education are stated as important teaching functions, of higher quality and broad general culture.
        
        This education is taught in non-university higher education centers and in post-secondary education centers. The characteristics that are offered are of special importance for the development of the country since they are in charge of dynamic educational institutions that respond to the demand of the productive sector and that specialize in their area.
        
        Objectives:
        
        Train professionals specialized in research, dissemination and deepening of the universal national culture.
