UTERINE DISPLACEMENT
DEFINITION
A deviation from the normal position of the uterus in the lesser pelvis.the displacement of the uterus may be forward, backward, or lateral
PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
Displacement or prolapsed of the uterus, bladder, or rectum can be a congenital or acquired condition. congenital tilting or flexion of the uterus is rare. more commonly, tilting or flexion disorders in which the uterus remains within the pelvic cavity are related to the scarring anf inflammation of pelvic inflammantory, endometriosis, pregnancy and tumors.

SURGERY
Anterior colporrhaphy- repair of the cystocele
posterior colporrhaphy- repair of retocele
surgical repositioning for prolapsed uterus
hysterectomy- for women who are postmenopausal with procidentia
