- - - - 1.Pour first starting material into beaker, add second starting materia(solution/aqueous state) in excess and stir until no more precipitate
        2.filter to collect precipitate
        3.wash the precipitate with distilled water to remove impurities
        4.allow precipitate to dry on piece of filter paper
  - - - Titration(normally for group I metal
        
        -acid+alkali
        -acid+soluble carbonate
        
        1.fill burette with acid
        2.pipette 25.0cm3 of alkali/carbonate into conical flask
        3.add few drops of methyl orange to the carbonate/alkali—>solution turn yellow
        4.swirl conical flask and add acid from burette slowly until carbonate/alkali turn orange permanently.—>end point then record result
        5.repeat the whole process for at least 2 times to get average end point result
        6.use the end point result and add into alkali/carbonates
        7.heat the solution till saturation
        8.cool the saturated solution so that the salt needed to be obtained can crystallise
        9.filter to collect crystals,wash crystals with distilled water to remove impurities;dry between sheets of filter paper
    - - Excess solid with acid
        
        -acid+excess metal
        -acid+excess insoluble base
        -acid+excess insoluble carbonate
        
        1.Fill half beaker with dilute acid; stir constantly and add solid until no more reaction/no more effervescence observed
        2.filter to remove excess Dolores.collect filtrate
        3.heat the filtrate until saturation
        4.allow saturated solution to cool so that salt can crystallise
        5.filter to collect crystals; wash the crystals to remove impurities; dry crystals in between filter papers
