PBIS: Off-Task Disruptive: Adam is straddling the line between 9th and 10th grades. He is often on Concern for behavioral issues such as distracting others, negatively confronting his peers, frequently getting out of his seat, not following direction or doing his work, transitioning improperly, making loud noises or shouting, sleeping, and yelling out inappropriate things. He has been redirected in several ways, and currently has some difficulties with his home and family life. According to "School-Wide Strategies for Managing... OFF-TASK/INATTENTION" (n.d.), "Inattention may be a symptom of an underlying condition such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder." Though there has been talk around Adam's potential of having an IEP, it has not formally been recognized.
