TRANSPORTING INDUSTRY
The first steam engine was created by Thomas Newcomen in 1712. With the purpose of taking water out of mines. But in 1801, a new use for the steam engine was discovered. George Stephenson invented the first railroad train, by putting steam engines on wheels. 6 years later in 1807, the steam engine changed the water transportation with the steamboat, a Robert Fulton creation.

The new technology helped businesses make the production of clothes more easy, faster and economical.
