Items that may not be able to be recyclable
What are things we can do with waste?
We could make them into sculptures or other pieces of art
We can use the 7 R's which are reuse, repurpose, rot, repair, return, refill and refuse.
We could reuse items that are recyclable.
Where can other waste go?
It goes to the land full
It can be reused in other ways, E.g clothing bins/ paper in recycling bins
It can go to the compost
What are other more environmentally friendly ways of disposing of our wastes
We could recycle all products that can be recycled
We could reuse thing over and over again. E.g hand me downs
We could compost food scraps/use worm farms
What happens at a landfill?
They sort through all the rubbish
They will squash masses of rubbish down into small cubes and bury them underground
They sometimes burn the trash there
