Fire
-
Fire nature
Fire is the effect that occurs in a fuel, when the necessary heat is applied, to move from its natural state, to another of lower density and in the presence of oxygen
Originates
Due to the incidence of a heat source that comes into contact with the fuel and begins the emanation of the gases, which become inflamed when the temperature of their flash points is reached.
All this cyclical process is carried out in a very fast and progressive way, this being the moment in which, it can be defined that the fire has started
Fire chemistry
For combustion to exist, three elements must be present: oxygen (oxidizer), heat and fuel
So that
It has been represented graphically by a triangle, on each side corresponding to each of these elements, giving rise to what is called the fire triangle.
Fire classification
For the purpose of extinction, not all fires are equal, they will depend on the type of fuel that burns, so that they behave in one way or another
