Investigate: How do we measure the outside and inside of a circle?
KWL
Want to know
What's the diameter
What's the radius
How to measure the inside and outside of a circle?
whats the circumference
What do you use to measure a curcle?
Learnt
A line segment that goes from one point to another on the circle's circumference is called a Chord
The line that cuts the middle of the circle is called a secant
If the chord passes through the center it is called a Diameter.
And a part of the circumference is called an Arc.

Know
But we do know is that the investigation involves a circle.
We don't know anything about measuring the outside and inside of a circle.

Parts of a circle
Important Circle Parts
Radius: The distance from the center of the circle to its outer rim.
Chord: A line segment whose endpoints are on a circle.
Diameter: A chord that passes through the middle of the circle. The length of a diameter is two times the length of a radius.
Secant: A line that intersects a circle in two points.
Tangent: A line that intersects a circle in exactly one point.
Point of Tangency: The point where a tangent line touches the circle.
