Operators work in galleries, edit suites and machine rooms

Provide complete end to end services for offline, online and non-linear editing, visual effects, and DVD production to the independent, corporate and broadcast media sectors.**
VT Operators work in and manage the machine room, operate tape recording equipment, and ensure that the contents of tapes meet the correct technical specifications. They prepare VT machines for use by clients and editors, and in some cases set up Avid and other editing equipment.

I would love to experience a live television studio environment, having been introduced to live broadcast back at Coventry University, when playing the roles of producer and vision mixer.

Key terms
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range,
the higher the dynamic range, the closer a photograph gets to real life.
HDR is basically talking about luminosity that is more dynamic than we’d see with standard resolution.
the dynamic range represents the "distance" (contrast) between white and the black in an image. In most cases, that distance is fairly narrow and is referred to as SDR (Standard Dynamic Range).
HDR is an expansion of the distance (contrast) between white and black in which bright whites can be captured and/or corrected so that they are more intense but don't overwhelm the rest of the image
