Anal abscess - Infection in one/more of anal spaces, usually is a bacterial infection of the blocked anal gland at the dentate line

- Provide antibiotics for those that the infection had spread.
- Encourage the client about good hygiene & cleanliness
- Provide the client with anesthesia as prescribed by the Dr.

- Blood cultures are taken to the laboratory
- An ultrasound is conducted for investigation.

- Screen test for sexually transmitted disease
- Screening for diverticular disease
