INDICATIONS
For cancer of the vulva to remove the malignant lesion and effect the necessary reconstrictive surgery

DEFINATION
The vulva is the outer part of the female genital area. It can be a site of cancer. Cancer of the vulva can occur in women of any age. It is most common in women over 60.

Cancer of the uterus, cervix, or ovaries
Vaginal bleeding, DUB 20%

Radical Hysterectomy – Removes uterus, cervix, and vagina

POST- OP COMPLICATIONS

Infection, Wound dehiscence

Pulmonary complications e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia.
Venous thrombosis (DVT, SVT.)
Post operative anesthetic complications e.g. Cyanosis, vomiting.
Remote Complications e.g. vaginal discharge (infection), vaginal vault prolapse.
Menopausal symptoms e.g. sadness, irritability.

SALPINGECTOMY
INDICATIONS
it is done in case of ectopic pregnancy , infection or infertility to remove, repair or effect potency in the fallopian tubes

RADICAL MASTECTOMY
POST-OP CARE
After your surgery, you’ll stay in the hospital for one or two nights.
Thin plastic tubes will be placed in your breast area and attached to small suction devices to drain any fluid.

After a week or two, you can usually treat your discomfort with over-the-counter pain relievers.
