Encourage mouth care
Monitor intake and output
Provide liquid diet rich in proitein
Nutritional status will be maintained
Insert nasogastric tube for feeding
Reduce anxiety
To maintain nutritional status
Assess level of anxiety
Explain disease to the patient
Provide psychological support
Anxiety level will be reduced
