CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

Painless sore on your genitals, rectum, tongue or lips.

CAUSES
A bacterium called Treponema palidum and spread through sexual contact with someone with an infected sore.
TREATMENT
Treated by antibiotic injection such as doxycycline, azithromycin and ceftriaxone.
DIAGONISIS

If a sore is present, doctor will take a sample from the sore to determine if syphilis bacteria is there and run tests.

PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
Chancre is made up of infectious bacteria, mononuclear, leukocytic, infiltration, macrophages and lymphocyte.

DIET
Honey, wheat, barley, garlic citrus fruit, green vegies, berries, peppers, nuts help strengthen the immune system.
