Event that changed me for worst
i was 8 years old
my mom left me with my aunt
i was playing outside with other kids
my cousins were there
the ice cream truck came around
i asked for a dollar
i already felt like my aunt didn't like me
it was during the summer
we were outside playing football
my mom's sister
all the other kids saw what happened
she smacked me in the back of the head with a broom
i felt left out
i felt unloved
didnt tell my mom until years later
i didnt get the dollar
she didnt check to see if i was ok after
i eneded up falling down some stairs when she hit me
i refrain from asking my family for help with anything
i cried
i slammed the door shut
i was upset because she gave everyone else a dollar but me
