Breakthrough- Chemistry
Why we chose it?
Emma- I really want to do this breakthrough because it would be a good chance for us to pradic chemistry because I really like science and for highschool one subject is science and I want to do it and this will help me in it because we will research all about it and do lots of experiments.
Angela- I want to do chemistry for breakthrough since I haven't done it before. This would be an amazing opportunity for me to learn all about chemistry, do some experiments( and find out what happens) and help me gain more knowledge.
Zahra- I would like to invest in this breakthrough because science isn’t one of my daily subjects, and I’m not confident in chemistry either. I feel that doing science now will set me up for success in high school as I will be more comfortable.

Week 5-
Research about something else we can try and make( maybe a tiny bit harder) and try not to do the same mistake( if there was one)
Week 10-
Start making the final experiment and reflect on what happened and do a big reflection on everything that we did
Week 8-
Watch more videos and plan out what we are going to do for our last /final experiment( do something harder)

Week 3
Plan out on what we are going to create and if we have all the materials practice making a few small experiments.
Week 7-
We will try out that experiment and reflect on what happened and what we can improve and every time we do a experiment it will get harder and harder.
Week 4-
Try out and experiment on the thing that we will make and see if it works and also write and refect on how well it went and find out what might of caused that to go like

Learning process-
Build Knowledge- We will have to bring what we know about science and chemistry, try out/experiment the experiments, practice making a few small experiments, find out more information about chemistry and lastly predict what will happen for each experiment.
Apply Understanding- For Apply Understanding we will have to create the actual things, solve any problems( if something does happen), take action and be there to solve any problems and lastly imagine possibilities of what could happen and what we have to be prepared for.
Make Meaning- We will have to order the order we will do everything in, think and connect this to something we've done before, sort/group different things in chemistry and negotiate about what we're going to do, how we're going to do it and what we have to bring.
