Criminal says, “I knew it.. were
dead - we can’t escape”
Soldiers begin ordering criminals
into an orderly line. Some soldiers
physically hitting defiant criminals.
(assure players hear soldiers are
physically beating criminals to
maintain order)
Players walk off the boat, one
by one. Each criminal is asked prior
to getting off boat,
name, race, combat style, place of origin
introduces players
Upon walking down the plank
a solider slaps a colour onto
the criminals shoulder.

Once players are off boat and in line
they begin walking and are separated
by colours. Crowd is yelling and screaming,
not at the criminals, but at the guards and
sodliers.

Rolls:
Strength
: high roll- assist a civilian
who is targeting a solider and take them
down. The crowd begins stomping at the
guard. Guards quickly break it up and
club player in back of head, unconscious.
PLAYER WILL WAKE UP WITH RED PAINT
low roll- body check soldier as you walk by who
is being targeted by the citizens, no one notices
Perception
: high roll- player is able to make
out the yells of citizens screaming a rebellion
is coming
low roll - the voices of many fill the air and
a blended audible hum makes it hard to hear
NPC Example:
if players haven’t attempted a strength
roll, have an NPC attempt to strong arm
their way out. Specifically the one on the
ship who said they were dead.
have one soldier place hands on criminals
face and murmur a chant that turns the
soldiers hands red and the sound of sizzling
skin emerges with a shared scream of agony
. While criminal is screaming a solider uses
a club to break arm at the elbow and criminal
collapses, unconscious.

smack soldier in nose, but are instantly
detained and clubbed in the back of the head
(unconscious, will wake up with RED paint)
low roll- attempts to body slam soldier into
water but stumbles on rope on ground and
trips. Soldiers pick back up

into water while holding on to
low roll - hit soldier in face with head
but are instantly restrained and slammed
to the ground
