Desiring God - Premising that we are made to enjoy God forever. Only God can satisfy us. Because God is the source of everlasting pleasure and joy.

1 John 1:9 promises when one confesses his sin, he will experience forgiveness and cleansing from his sin. However, James 5:16 promises that when one confesses his sin before his brothers, he will experience healing from his sin.
Receiving Forgiveness and Removal of Shame: Community as visible expression of God's acceptance and forgiveness.
Breaking bondage of sin and evil one: To call sin as sin and condemn sin as sin; to declare to the evil one that we are children of the light and not darkness. ( 1 Jn 1:5-7, Eph 5:8-14)
Empowered to overcome: Community become our prayer warriors. We are not longer isolated in this fight.

Heb 12:1-17 - Not to grow weary in our struggle against sin. Knowing that our fight is not for our salvation but for our sanctification. Knowing the victory is already won by Christ. Fighting on victory ground.
