Students around the world do not always have the needed resources to succeed in gaining an education. Given the proper resources, teaching quality, and positive environment, a student will increase in their education, life skills, and self-efficacy. This is why students are like stars! Stars, if closer to the Earth, seem to shine brighter than those farther away from the Earth. If the Earth represents a healthy, safe, environment for students to learn, then the stars are the students. The closer students can get to resources that fuel their curiosities, the brighter they will shine. As teachers, parents, and other adults, it is our prerogative to give a proper education to all that seek it out. Even if a child, or older person, does not seek out an education, we must stress its importance. We must pull them closer to Earth so that they may see how bright of star they truly are. As we provide them the resources of Earth, a healthy and safe environment for learning, our students will be pulled out of the darkness of outer space, shining brighter than ever before.
