Where do these ingredients come from?
Many of these products were created by God and they include: avocado, black beans, cows, lettuce, white rice and tomatoes. They grow as they are and we do not transform them in any way.
The rest of the ingredients were made from various products of God, but he did not make him themselves. Humans invented these products and they include: tortillas, salsa, cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips
How do these ingredients become edible?
Tortillas: are either made from corn or wheat. Corn requires sun and rain to grow which is provided by God. Flour is made by humans. Both require some sort of worker to make the product and package it.
Salsa: God provided us all of the ingredients we use to make salsa, we just need a chef to assemble the dish. Packagers are then needed to package the final product.
Avocado: Avocados are a natural growing fruit on Earth that need sun, rain and an appropriate climate. These are delivered by God.
Lettuce: Lettuce is a natural growing vegetable on Earth that requires sun, rain and the appropriate climate. These are all delivered by God.
Cows: Cows are a living animals provided by God on Earth as food for humans. In order to become edible, the farmer must take care of the cow. The cow is then delivered to a butcher. Then the meat is delivered to packager when it is package and ready to be sold.
Cheddar Cheese: Cheese comes from a cows milk. A farmer will milk a cow and the milk is then delivered to some sort of cheese factory. The cheese is then made and packaged.
White Rice: Rice is a natural growing product made by God. It requires sun, rain and the proper climate to grow. These items are also provided by God. Farmers then harvest the rice and it is transported to a factory when it is prepared for packaging.
Tomatoes: Tomatoes are a natural growing product made by God. It requires un, rain and the proper climate to grow. These items are provided by God. Farmers harvest the rice and they are prepared for the market.
Sour Cream: Sour cream comes from milk which is produced by cows. Cooks are required to assemble and package sour cream.
Tortilla chips: Tortilla chips are made from baking tortillas. Cooks need to prepare the chips and packagers need to prepare them for consumers.
How are these products delivered to consumers?
All of these products require packaging and delivery. The delivery person works to deliver products to their final destination. Some of these products, such as fruits, vegetables and ground beef need to have price adjustments and repackaging when they are delivered to fit the store's needs.
There are many destinations these products will be delivered to. They could include grocery stores, convenience stores, farmers markets, restaurants, independent sellers and many more.
The final destination of these ingredients is the consumer. All of the workers involved in the process are aiming to please the consumer.
What is the Point of this all?
This project allows you to see and appreciate all of the hard work that goes into the foods you consume. While eating food products, you may not realize just how many people it took for the food to be in the form it is when you eating it.
After analyzing all of the work it took to make just one taco, I feel must more appreciative of the meals that are provided. I am truly blessed to be able to live somewhere where the food is safe.
Overall, I am happy to have had the opportunity to have completed this product. I feel much more aware and appreciative of the meals I am fortunate enough to make. I would like to teach my future kids to think like this one day.
