500 years ago, Wave Echo Cave was utilized by dwarves, gnomes and humans
400 years ago, orcs invaded the mines

The battle of the Wave Echo Cave happened between dwarves, gnomes and humans VS orcs + evil mercenary wizards for more than 50 years
The orcs were winning and a human wizard pulled up his last trick: Destroying the cave in the process
The location of the cave was lost than a 200 years, with the myth passing from generations to generations that somewhere in the Wave Echo Cave lies the Forge of Spells
A year ago, the Rockseeker brothers- a trio of dwarves - traveled from Kymal to the far away land to the city of Neverwinter, with the hope to recover the lost mines from the Sword Coast
Unknown to them, unknown forces are also looking to claim the mines for themselves

Failed to convince Thunder. Instead of reporting the Rockseeker misusing powers from the mines, Gundren left Kymal to pursue his own interests after saving quite a bit of money
After hearing the fall of Kymal, Gundren wanted to go back and help the Rockseeker family

He's shameful of leaving his younger brother and mom behind and fear that they might not forgive him
He finally went back to Kimal to ask the Rockseekers for help with finding the forgotten mines. But the fame, status and wealth of the Rockseeker family has been long gone.
He discovered the forgotten mine and wanted to pitch it to potential investors. But everyone thinks if the mine indeed exists, it is haunted by the spirits of the the battle of Wave Echo Cave.
