Love
Listen to your students
When students come back from the weekend or from a break, take the time to hear what they did. Also know what the students like, dislike, and are struggling with to understand how to help them better.
If students are having a hard time with a certain subject or something going on in their lives they can talk to the teacher and they will listen to try to help the student.
Be the students friend.
Help students feel comfortable to come and talk to you. When students feel comfortable they will most likely be more willing to participate in class.
Make the class room environment one where everyone can be each others friend. This will be a class that loves each other and will encourage the class.
-
compassion
get to know the students
When you have students in your class, teachers can try to know what the students struggle with the most with learning. Then they can accommodate to their needs.
Have an environment where the students feel comfortable to talk to the teacher and have someone to listen to them.
Listening to the students, parents, colleagues
If people around a teacher have concerns a teacher should be willing to listen and have empathy of what they are talking about.
If people around you are going through a tough time they should feel safe coming to them to have a conversation.
-
kindness
the tone of voice
Teachers should always try to be positive, even if they are have a hard dy. If the teacher is having a rough day they can put that to the side to be the best they can for their students.
The tone of voice should never be angry or frustrated because that can make the environment not the best. So kindness can make the class a good and healthy environment
kindness in actions
Teachers can show acts of kindness to the students by rewarding students if they do something nice for someone else or if they do good on an assignment.
Have the class show kindness to others, whether it be by talking to someone or playing with another student at recess.
