Psalm 91:
My refugee and my Fortress
Who gives the protection
The almighty
The most High
Who can receive the protection
dwells in the shelter of the most High
will abide in the shadow of the almighty
I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."
he holds fast to me in love
he knows my name
when he calls to me, ...
how to protect
God will deliver you x2 from
the deadly pestilence
will cover you with His pinions
a Fowler's snare
will find the refuge under His wings
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler
For HE will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways
They (angels?) will bear you up lest you strike your foot against stone
I will protect him because ...
I will answer him (his call)
I will be with him in trouble
I will rescue him
Consequence of protection
will not fear the terror of the night nor the arrows that flies (thousands fall nearby?) by day nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
i.e. all the times no fear for any invisible attacks or even deadly diseases because they would not come near you
the recompense of the wicked
you will tread on the lion and the adder
you will trample the serpent & the young lion underfoot
and honor him
I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation
