For some, nothing at all
Regardless if you feel nothing when viewing or experiencing art in any format, art is responsible in some part for the architecture and designs all around us in day to day life. Art has purpose, it shapes a lot of what is around us.

Like a lot of people, want to make a career out of what they're passionate about

Have less access to specific mediums, ie. good quality paints, canvas, clay, etc.
Resort to buying these things online, often at a greater price

Art has a place in everything, symbols, signs, objects, buildings, etc.

Art is a huge part of an artists life, and most won't give that up easily
Living in a society obsessed with capitalising on all we make, artists have to gain monetary value from something seen as a hobby to validate their work.
-
-
These are funded by either the government, local council or philanthropists so technically these artists aren't putting this into the community
-
Without these artists and their contributions these festivals would either not be possible, or would be rather empty.
