Clear Cut Pictures Mock Interview Questions
Can you tell me a little about yourself?
Accomplishments and experiences
Camp America
I spent the summer of 2018 at Camp Pontiac, New York State as part of the Camp America program.
This was a priceless experience, getting to do what I love doing (filming and editing) on a daily basis, improving the quality of each daily video.
Getting to experience American culture and working with young people was very rewarding .
TwoFour
Getting the opportunity to experience how a factual program is made was a real privilege.
Meeting the professionals working at TwoFour Plymouth was also an enjoyable experience. I would utilise any opportunity such as making drinks, to get to meet the talented people working there.
How have these experiences helped you prepare for this job role?
What the above experiences have in common are the traits required to work competently including hospitality, a dedication to learn and progress and reliability.
Customer service assistant
Working in customer service, I understand that communication is everything both personality and presentation. I am often praised by customers for my politeness and going the extra mile to make their shopping experience with The Cooperative extra satisfying.
What are your biggest weaknesses?
Perfectionist
Because of my strong dedication to the projects I work on,my biggest weakness is based on perfectionism. When collaborating as part of a team, I wish all my team mates could put 100% effort into a project like I do, however through my experiences working on student films, I have come to realise that everyone has their talents and where they may lack, they can make up for in their specific job role.
Adversity
Throughout my school life I have struggled in one form or another, be it academically or self belief. However I persevered, putting a 100% and more into everything I do, to ensure I could get the grades and get to where I want to be.
What are my strengths?
I am Resilient
During Camp America, I faced hot weather and long working hours in creating he best daily videos that were to be put on Camp Pontiac's website and video platform. A notable experience in particular was the colour war apache relay. As videographer, I ran all around the camp in order to get coverage of each activity in real time. Despite the heat and the short time taken to film each activity, I persevered and completed a high quality video.
I am Ambitious
I always like to learn new skills that can improve my abilities as a filmmaker and as an individual. During my second year of university, I took on an opportunity to experiment with VR and 360 cameras. I had never worked with this type of equipment before, but having experienced using the equipment, it opened my eyes to a wide range of possibilities that the kit could be used for.
I am friendly and reliable
I am a friendly and reliable person who is always looking to help someone before myself. A prime example of this relates to my final year of university, when I volunteered to help out on other group films as well as
