        There is one tribe that was unhappy with the transformation up until this point, the giants and their leader Kuafu. They believe it was their natural gift to have the size advantage over other species. They were not very thrilled by the "belittling," and eventually wanted to back out of the Midrin plan.
        
        The others feared that Kuafu and his people would threaten the peace that they were proposing. The eight remaining tribes combined their forces in the War of Giants and the Great Chase to drive the giants off to the Eastern Sea and its distant islands.
        
        The rest followed through with their plan, marking the beginning of a new age for the history of the Weald. The Midrinian Establishment was initially a great success. Now turned Rins and their far reduced consumption of resources and migration to the Midrin Lands had a great impact on the rest of the continent
        
        Under the rule of Nuva and her seven fellow leaders. The now peaceful tribes worked together and entered the Age of . The lands, trees, rivers were once again booming with life and prospering in growth and fruits.
        
        However, one hundred years passed and by this time the still alive leaders realized they had placed their species in grave situation. The generations that followed did not share their long lives nor their degree of control over the qwin. These Rins could not hold as much quin in their bodies and their bodies were extensively weaker than their predecessors.
