The consumer will most likely be very wealthy therefore meaning that the cost of the product is not paramount within the design as they should have an excess amount of money to spend.
The consumer will be able to appreciate the product and the work put into the design that makes it reminiscent of his design characteristics and trends.
Aims
The main aim of the product is to capture Shigeru Ban's design characteristics and trends within a product that will almost act as an embodiment of his design personality.
Another aim is to make a one of a kind or bespoke product that is unique and will only appear once. The product will be of a high quality and will feature influences from his own work.
The final aim is to bring in more visitors to the Tate Gallery therefore meaning that they can expand and better the overall experience.
Problems
Shigeru Ban is a lesser known designer that goes widely unrecognized for his work and contributions to the architectural world.
The market for bespoke products of this nature is relatively untouched and there is an audience that hasn't been tapped into yet.
The application of a designers influences and characteristics is an idea that hasn't been utilised therefore meaning that fans of certain designers such as Shigeru Ban could be interested by the product or the idea but have no way of purchasing it.
Benefits
Shigeru Ban will receive credit for his designs and ideas form things that have been built to things that were just distant pipe dreams.
