Where am I?
Summary

Dennett is approached to go to a dangerous mission in Tulsa, but this radioactive wasteland would destroy only the brain. He needed to leave his brain somewhere where it would be kept safe and only take his body to retrieve it. This surgery would remove the brain and place it in a vat, while the empty vessel would be filled with a radio transmitter, connected to the brain. Dennett goes under, wakes up and asks "Where am I?". They go back to the lab and the brain is suspended in a vat filled with fluid.
