BIOMOLECULES
-
PROTEINS
Amino acids
They have an acid part, an amino (nitrogen) and a central carbon which has a variation part called 'R'. It can variate in 20 different amino acids. Only found in human body.
-
NUCLEIC ACIDS
Nucleotides
Phosphate
In nucleotides, there are just up to three phosphates. It contains PO3-
Base
It contains nitrogen. Can be an Adenine, Uracil, Thymine, Cytosine, Guanine.

-
Polynucleotides
The nucleotides are bonded to each other by phosphates. In polynucleotides, each nucleotide can contain only one phosphate. The bases are only attracted. They obtain the energy by breaking the phosphates.
LIPIDS
Phospholipids
-
-
Phospholipid bilayer
hydrophilic groups interacting with water and hydrophobic group together, forming a layer.
