While teasing can be used to strenghten a relationship, it can also be used to alienate, criticize, and embarrass anotherp erson, which may weaken the relationship.
The affectionate interaction of teasing can turn hostile when the person being teased is distressed by the teasing.
How does cyber bullying affect victims academically?
Bullying can have a serious impact on a child’s educational experience, and not just by causing him or her to miss school. There is a great deal of evidence to suggest that bullying has a negative impact on a child’s academic performance.

My own story : But actually in group chats the bully feels much stronger and powerful about oneself if their friends are around them. Not necessarily they’re supporting him or her, but the fact that not only I’m doing this, they can be less guilty and say much more mean words all together. Just because you didn’t say anything, or do anything in the group chats, participating doesn’t cover the fact that you’re actually like those people who are directly bullying the victim
