Effectively sequences the curriculum and the use of resources, so staff time is focused on the how best to teach for children to master the required content
Departmental meetings are focused on improving Teaching and Learning, sharing best practice, moderating or designing approaches to enable children to master the content.
Leading Strategically
Multiple sources beyond student assessment are used to identify gaps, barriers and next steps
Uses evidence to establishes clear impact cycles, detailing goals and expectations, for the Department / Year Group to follow
Planning impacts beyond the Department/Year Group to drive the school vision for teaching and learning

Consistent evidence that feedback, grades and reports are monitored and some anomalies are investigated
Plays a role in sharing best practice throughout the school and works with others to develop thinking on learning and teaching

Most staff can evidence how the strategies they have applied have had a positive outcome on children's progress and attainment
A clear and incusive process for decision making is in place, which fosters a genuine team spirt/teacher efficacy.
