Difference Secular & Islamic Worldview
Secular Worldview
Every community/system is controlled or influenced by its own worldview
Focus more on existing reality,experienc & life. They dont give much consideration to the issues related to the unseen world & hereafter
Consider it as assumption.
Islamic Worldview
Controlled by Islamic view and its sources of knowledge
Islamic worldview can be described as dual worldview that comprising this world and hereafter.
Islamic perspective believe it truth system derived from revelation
Objective Islamic worldview
To provide true knowledge & explanation about the world,seen & unseen as explained by Al Quran
To teach people the way & method how to achieve the main values of Islam in human life
To establish the fundamental ethics perception such as justice, freedom, trust & dignity of human life & existence
Components/ Elements of Islamic Worldview
Concept of God
Tawhid/Unity/God
Tawhid is belief in God's existence & believe God's contact with human through sending Prophet.
Tawhid Rububiyah
Oneness of the lordship of Allah
To believe that there is only one God in the universe,its creator,organizer,planner and that is Allah.
Tawhid Uluhiyyah
Oneness in the worship of Allah
To believ that none has right to be worshipe but Allah
Tawhid Asma Wa Sifat
Onenes of the names & the qualities of Allah
Belive in all of those qualifications of Allah
Concept of religion
Covers the way of life
Din for this world & hereafter to achieve al falah

Concept of Man
Man is the khalifah of Allah on earth and abd of Allah (slave) , (Al Baqarah:30) "Behold!The Lord said to Angel: I will create a vigerent on earth.
Role of khalifah is implies that nature,universe & other creations are entrusted to man for his utilization.
Role of abd implies that man doen not have ultimate authority or right than to follow the will of God
Best of creation, (Al-Tin:4)"We have created Man the best of moulds"
Concept of Nature
Nature is the creation of Allah
All resources in nature are means for man to attain his falah in this world & hereafter.
Creation of God for Man (Al-An'am:95-103) Talk of vegetation & fruits, day&nights,heaven&earth,human being & rain.Material world & world of ghayb. Nature is sign of God.
Concept of aim in life
Aim in life to achieve happines not in this world alone but in the hereafter too like to achieve al falah
Al Ghazali mentioned man can prepare for their happiness in this world ultimately for next world based on
Al fada'il al Jismiyah
The bodily goods like health, strenght,long life & beauty are essential for happiness
Al Ghazali refers that beauty not the kind that stimulates sexuality but to a pleasant appearance.
Al fada'il al kharijiyyah -
For external goods like wealth, influence, family & noble birth for happiness.
Al fada'il al tawfiqiyyah
The goods of the divine Grace consist of divine guidance (hidayah), divine direction( rushd), divine leadership (tasheed) and divine strengthening (ta'id)
Al fada'il al nafsiyah
Good of the soul, which are faith (iman) & good character through achievable action (amal)
Concept of Knowledge
To seek knowldege is a holy duty, it is obligatory on every Muslim male & female
The first revealed word in the Quran was IQRA (READ) which encourage man to seek knowldege & to be educated
Western source of knowledge
based on upon acquired knowledge example upon cultural tradition
