Psalm 88 by the sons of Korah:
I cry out day and night before YOU
(a poem of low mood)
Why cry?
how he felt?
my soul is full of troubles
my life draws near to Sheol
I am counted as one of those who go down to the pit (hopeless)
I am a man who has no strength
like one set loose among the dead
like the slain that lie in the grave
You have put me in the depths of the pit, in the region dark and deep
You overwhelm me all Your waves
like those who You remember no more
they are cut off from Your hand
afflicted and close to death from my youth
Your dreadful assaults destroy me
they close in on me together
Your wrath lies heavy upon me
Your wrath has swept over me
I am shut so that I cannot escape
my eye grows dim through sorrow
I am helpless
I suffer Your terrors
Socially troubles
YOU have caused my companions to shun me
You have caused my beloved and my friends to shun me
my companions have become darkness
YOU have made me a horror to them
towards God
O Lord x4, ...
God of my salvation
requests
incline Your Ear to my cry
What he did?
cry x2 out day and night before You
my prayer comes before You x2
in the morning
his calling for God's concern and help
I spread out my hands to You
To contrast the importance of his calling by questioning
do You work wonders for the dead?
do the departed rise up to praise You?
Is Your steadfast love declared in the grave or Your faithfulness in Abaddon?
are Your wonders known in the darkness or Your righteousness in the forgetfulness?
why do you cast my soul away?
why do you hide Your face from me?
Every day I call upon You
