Informal carers are family, friends and neighbours who provide a significant amount of social care. Carers provide unpaid care by looking after the needs of an ill, frail or disabled family member of friends

Discretionary Support - Quick short term financial support payed into an interest free loan or grant
Personal Independence Payment (PIPS) - Paid to individuals who suffer from a disability, can help individuals with some of the extra costs if they have a long-term ill health or disability

Physical -Provide nutrition, deliver medication, bath, take them to classes, take them to the gym, providing transport to appointments
Intellectual - Take them on day trips, Research Conditions, Take to classes, Encourage SU to get jobs
Emotional - Listening to problems, Aid their performance, Enable users to practise faith, referral to counsellor, Regularly express love
Social - Keep in contact, take them to see friends, encourage to join social groups, encourage to get jobs, take users on outings, providing opportunities to mix with others
