Make extra effort to pronounce word perfectly.
Ask the student to pay attention to the movements of your mouth.
Provide extra psychological care.
Give the kid enough time to say what he/she has to say.
Do not feign understanding.
Lead the kid to gain confidence when speaking in front of the class.
Discretely give special instructions
Replace some oral exercises and examinations by written ones.
Give a little more time to the kid to repeat his speech and learn how to pronounce new words.
Provide some exercise with a video or a recording of you or someone else saying some of the difficult words
Keep in touch with the medical staff involved in the kids treatment
Consult with the family and see if they can help tutoring the kid in proper pronunciation.
Humanise and play down language.
Show it's something useful and not a chore.
Show how it's mostly meant to be for fun and not for work.
Make mistakes yourself even if they're not real.
