Themes
Romanticism: In the book there are many examples of this theme, such as imperfect men disturbing nature's perfection, nature being the most powerful source, and humans worrying about useless petty things
Family and Society: This is shown by the letters being written by Robert, also the monster becoming angry at society for isolating him and this isolation from society causes the monsters hatred.
Revenge: At first the monster is a caring thing, but later he comes to hate people and only wants revenge on the people that shunned him.
