What are four things a person can do to be a better observer?
Something you can do to be a better observer is to pay closer attention to the smaller things. 2. Another thing you can do to be a better observer is to think like the person you are observing (if observing a person). 3. A third thing one can do to be a better observer is to make possible scenarios based off of what you already know. 4. The last thing you could do is to review all evidence multiple times, in case you missed something

How should liquids and arson materials be packaged?
Liquids and arson materials should be stored in airtight, unbreakable containers. This is to prevent contamination.
How should biological evidence be packaged?
Most biological evidence is stored in breathable containers. This risks mold contamination. After the evidence has a chance to dry out,it is then placed in a paper bindle for storage
How should packaged evidence be opened for analysis?
Packaged evidence should be opened safely and sterile. The evidence should not be contaminated by anything, and needs to be preserved so it can be used for investigation many times if needed to.

What is the difference between a fact and an opinion?
A fact is something that has been proven to be true. Opinions are what a given person thinks. Opinions are not proven to be true, and are usually just what a person thinks about a given situation.

Deductive reasoning is a process of reasoning from one or more statements in order to reach a reasonable conclusion. Taking the words from one witness and being able to determine what happned os deductive reasoning

What is the goal of a crime scene investigation?
The goal of a crime scene investigation is to determine what happened at the scene, how it happened, who could be involved, what time the crime happened, and possible motive for the crime. The goal is to fully understand what happened.
What is a crime scene reconstruction?
Crime scence reconstruction is when a specialist uses evidence at a crime scene to recreate what could have happened. They use special computer programs to recreate crime scenes. They could recreate a car crash based off of marks in the road and where the cars ended up crashing
What is an eyewitness, and how reliable is one?
An eyewitness is a person who has personally seen something happen and so can give a first-hand description of it. Eyewitnesses are some of the most reliable people in a crime. They may be the only one/s who know what really happened. If you need someone to give you facts on a crime, the eyewitness is that person.
