Pre-assessment and the innovative differentiation strategy

Assessment
The teacher will assess students in a formative way. The teacher can ask students to start a project that shows what they have learned before on the subject. The project can be a posture included the achievement of Muslim at Islamic golden age.
Another type of assessment it called ponder and pass, where the teacher can ask students to write the fact they know about the Islamic subject, and what the information they want to learn and question they want to explore.
The teacher can use students discussion to assure their understanding of the content. Peer review allows students to reinforce their knowledge of the element.
Differentiation strategy
Gifted Students can have a brief introduction for the next topic, ask them to read about it, and do their research.
Provide students with t a video regarding the Islamic topic or the subject will introduce unit knowledge.
The teacher can ask students a question with an open end, make them right about their opinion and become in engage more with the subject. For a unit on narrative writing, accessing critical thinking skills is essential.

Differentiation Strategy
For ELL students, the teacher can use charts strategies with her students; it will help them understand the subject of contents and organize the ideas.
Special needs students to work with each other, and learn how to collaborate in one project together and learn more about being self-directed learning.
Have special needs students compare and contrast between two science achievement using a van diagram.
For ELL students, Graphic organizers can help students to organize their thoughts before writing.
