Mechanisms
The DC motor is used to move a gearbox with a large reduction ratio. The final axis imposes a force on the external load and acts simultaneously on the axis of the feedback potentiometer. Therefore, the potentiometer detects the position of the axis and sends a voltage to and operational amplifier.
Output voltage compared to the input voltage, which determines the Desired position of the axis produces a voltage at the output of the comparator.[1]
