      - Because the monasteries were Catholic, the protestant Anne Boleyn was the motivation, power and intelligence to push the Reformation this far.
        
        Anne Boleyn asked Thomas Cromwell to create a hit squad in 1535. This was to travel the country and asses the church's wealth
      - Many artefacts say that the monasteries only got shut down because of the poor behaviour of the nun, however I think that the reason that it getting shut down us that Henry wants the money.

      - Charles married Henrietta Maria who influenced him to put more decorations in the churches there for making the churches look more Catholic. Putting decorations in the churches made parliament angry ant the Scots, this lead to a war between Scotland and England

      - The Scots declared war and this meant that Charles had to call parliament for money, when they wouldn’t give him money he raised money through old laws such as ship money. This did not make parliament happy.(short term)

He believed in the divine right of kings and he ruled without parliament for 11 years. This made parliament angry over a long time period. They were angry because they wanted power a swell. Another reason why power is the most important factor is that Charles tried to arrest fie mps, he did this because the Parliament was not giving him money, this was a trigger. Furthermore, Charles also ignored the parliament thus making them get even angrier and angrier. The final reason why I think that power is the most important reason is that Parliament orders the king to give them money. This caused the civil war because both of these parties wanted to be powerful. This made them to fight. The angrier the both parties got that started the civil war.
        
        Para 2: Religion is also a big factor for the break out of the civil war. A reason why religion was a big factor is that he married Henrietta Marry. The reason why this is bad is because she was a Catholic and the Parliament do not like the Catholics. After the gunpowder plot was executed, they did not like Catholics. But a catholic was going to be a queen, this was long term. Furthermore, when he married Henrietta, she influenced him to decorate Churches in a Catholic style making the parliament go mad. Also , religion is a big factor, for example, William Laud changes English services, this is a long term problem. This caused the civil war because there is a constant back and forth between Charles and parliament.
