STATISTICAL TEST
T-Test (parametric test)
To compare mean between group of subjects from two different experimental design
Independent T-Test
DIfferent subjects for each condition
Dependent T-Test (paired t-test)
Same subjects in both conditions
ANOVA (parametric test)
To compare mean between more than two groups in order to avoid error if using multiple testing
Two-way independent ANOVA
two independent variable and different participants will be used in each condition
One-way repeated measures ANOVA
one independent variables but same participants will be used in all conditions
One-way independent ANOVA
one independent variable and different participants will be used in each condition
Post-hoc Tests
To further compare the group pairwise
Bonferroni - divide sig. value (α) by number of test conducted
Chi-square (non-parametric)
uses frequency data to test the relatioship between two variables
Linear Regression
Analyze relationship between independent variables and a continuous variable to make predictions.
Simple linear regression
predict value of one variable from one predictor variable
multiple linear regression
predict value of one variable from several predictor variables
Correlation
A measure of linear relationship between variables
