What mainly causes obesity is consuming a greater amount of calories that you will burn off. This will cause a build up of fats in your stomach that will cause a gain in weight.
Health
Obesity is caused by eating unhealthy foods like hamburgers and french fries and drinking unhealthy drinks like soda and alcohol. To prevent being at risk of obesity you need to take care of your body doing things such as, eating much healthier, exercising regularly, and drinking lots of water rather than sodas and alcohol.
Dangers
Being obese has many dangers you are at risk of getting. Just a few examples are developing heart disease, stroke, and kidney problems.
Historical
Obesity is a disease that has become a world epidemic. Long ago Obesity was only a problem for Kings, Queens, Emperors and other people of a large substantial food supply for themselves. But Today, it is a heath epidemic that is showing its relevance all over the world.

Obesity is found to be highest in Americans. However, over the minority groups, Blacks are the highest, followed by Hispanics, and then Whitez
Expense
One main factor that not a lot of people talk about with obesity is the amount of money spent on food & beverages. To become obese would mean you eat way more than you are supposed to with out exercising off what you eat. The other main cost factor for the obese is the amount they have to spend on healthcare. Obese adults actually spend 42% more on direct healthcare costs than adults who are healthy.
Everyday Relevance
Everyday, approximately 800 people die from obesity related deaths across the world. That is almost more than people who die from cancer each day is, but the sad difference between the two is obesity is preventable.
