n response to your book giveaway offer, I wanted to share both - a question about a podcast I'm about to launch for the company I work at and the top podcasts I listen to and why I like them. So first about the podcast. I work at a company that provides accredited training for IT managers (Agile, DevOps, ITIL, etc.). We also have a sister organisation - a foundation that created a vibrant IT management community here in Poland. Both organisations are run by two brothers, with a solid background in tech. I've got the technicalities, production and format figured out. The one thing I'd love to get your feedback on is what metrics would you recommend for the initial phase of the podcast to assess success. I have some metrics in mind but would love to have your take on the issue. As for the podcasts I listen to, I have them categorised in Castbox (my go-to podcast app) into comms, business, social, running and languages. The top ones in each category are: Comms - Everyone Hates Marketers - Louis delivers on the promise - he gets growth marketers to share actionable, no-fluff marketing tips. Business - Business Wars - stories of epic corporate rivalry (e.g. Nike vs Adidas, Netflix vs Blockbuster, Hasbro vs Mattel). Each delivered in several episodes, very insightful and well presented. Social - tough choice but Freakonomics Radio takes the top spot. For the diversity of topics and formats and explaining difficult concepts in plain English. Running - Talk Ultra - if you're into trail and ultra running this show is epic and it's host, Ian Corless is a legend of reporting the sport. Languages - hands down Lexicon Valley - a joy for every language geek :) Your show rocks! I got tons of knowledge out of it. Thank you for that and keep up the excellent job you're doing. All the best! Paweł
