Bee's
what are they and facts
They are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants .
A western Honey Bee can live for 112-152 days but an early Bumble bee is 28 days .
Honey Bees live in hives and are divided into three parts
- Queen who runs the hive and lays the eggs
2.Workers who are all females . They find food and clean , build and protect the hive .
3.Drones these are all males but they are kicked out during the winter
Honey bees are fab flyers they they fly at a speed of around 25km per hour and beat there wings 200 times per second
Sadly over the past 15 years colonies of bees have been disappearing and the reason remains unknown which is called colony collapse disorder billions of Honey bees are leaving there hives never to return . in some regions up to 90% of bees have disappeared .
Bees can Recognise human faces the same way we do . by taking bit's like lips , nose , eyes ears and cobble them together this is called configural processing

Bumble bees
Bumble Bees are better pollinators then Bees because they can have more hairs on there body so can work in harsher , colder weather
-
Did you know that Bumble Bee's don't die after stinging unlike Honey Bees they can pull there stinger back out . Bumble Bees don't normally sting only in defence of there nest or themselves .
-
The highest that researchers have ever found Bumble bees fly is 18,370 feet above sea level
conclusion
so why don't we support these brilliant bugs by planting plants like Lavender , wild lilac and snapdragons . So why dont you Bee a good friend

Although According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyways. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible

what do they do
They make Honey and it is made from nectar the juice that is collected from the heart off flowers . most bees only collect pollen or nectar . They do this by creating a sucking sensation on there tongue . Then they pass it into another bees mouth and that bee chews it for up too thirty minutes. Then they pass it from one bee to another through there mouths and this process continues until it turns into honey . Then they store it in honey comb sells made out off wax . Since the honey is wet the bees use there wings to dry it this process gives the quality of stickiness to what we know as honey .
