    - - Pyrex tube over a bunsen burner connecting to 2 100cm syringes only one ful
      - Heat the copper and pass the gas over the copper. Until reading stops changing
        Forms copper oxide (black)
      - Let cool and take a reading of volume left
  - - - Bell jar in a water trough of water with excess phosphorous floating on an evaporating basin inside. Mark water level
      - Take out bung torch phosphorous with hot wire. Put bung back in
      - phosphorous burns - water level rises - mark new water level
      - Fill bell jar to both marks and record volume. Volume changed/ initial volume = oxygen percentage.
