Teach Organization Skills
make a checklist, daily schedules, and create "to do" and "done" folders to help students take small steps in taking responsibility
Check In Check Out
Students check in with an adult at the start of school to retrieve a goal sheet and encouragement, teacher provides feedbacks throughout the day, students check out at the end of the day with an adult, and the students take the sheet home to be signed, returning it the following morning at check in
