Igneus rocks
Intrusive rcoks
Igneous rocks are rocks that form from cooled magma. Intrusive rocks are igneous rocks that form from crystallized magma beneath the earth's surface.
Extrusive rocks
Extrusive rock refers to the mode of igneous volcanic rock formation in which hot magma from inside the Earth flows out (extrudes) onto the surface as lava or explodes violently into the atmosphere to fall back as pyroclastics or tuff
Sedimentary rocks
Sedimentary rocks are types of rock that are formed by the accumulation or deposition of small particles and subsequent cementation of mineral or organic particles on the floor of oceans or other bodies of water at the Earth's surface.
Metamorphic rocks
Metamorphic rocks made up of a large part of the Earth's crust and form 12% of the Earth's land surface.
