Defensive:
- Minimal commitment to CSR.
- Willing to do no more than the law requires e.g. Tobacco companies
- Ensure all is legal and above board.
Accommodative:
- Moderate commitment to CSR.
- Want to do the right withing when approached to do so
- Want to make choices that are reasonable in the eyes of society.
Obstructionist:
- Total disregard for CSR
- Managers engage in + cover up unethical and illegal behavior.
Proactive:
- Strong commitment to CSR, proactively seek opportunities to contribute.
- Take time to learn about the needs of various stakeholder groups.

Ethical Compliance
The extent to which the members of the organisation follow basic ethical & legal standards of behavior.
