"The US navy was sent to the Caribbean, Latin America, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, East Asia and West Africa, sometimes to neutralize a threat (e.g. Tripoli) and sometimes to keep the seas open to shore up US access to trade (e.g. Japan). American diplomacy was also active during this time as embassies and missionaries spread throughout the world." ( Foreign policy historical perspective)
WWII made United sates a globalsuperpower
Cold war to spread American Values and democracy
I'm Persian aka. Iranian. I believe that united states war with Iran either helps or creates a worse reputation for people like me. However, we already have a bad reputation bc of our dictator so it doesn't matter
i don't believe that united states would go to war, since it is expensive and it is a whole new era of war with nuclear weapon in our possession. (too dangrous)
Slave vs. Free states
United states got involved in 2 World wars
Connects to how united states became a super power and whoever threatens them or their values become an enemy. Also, it represents how united states is an influential nation on other countries.
How united states want to help people who are oppressed in a country "Because Iran's filled with millions of very - you know, good people who want a free, stable, prosperous, democratic country for themselves. They've wanted it for a long time. So the administration's approach is with eyes wide open understanding this adversarial threat." (para. 10)
freedom: united states can helps spread democracy and get of oppression in Iran
Justice: i believe it's just to fight to free someone from their misery
Safety: The only problem is that the war can escalate and lead to many people getting hurt
