- - - - If no results, talk to the councillor and the principal to insure their support before facing the parents.
  - - - If no significant results, see with the principal what can be done within the school.
        
        If no result and in very last resort, talk to the parents and consider placing the kid in a special education school.
        
        Favor foreign or international special ed. institution if there are any in Beijing. In last resort , advise sending the kid to a Chinese public institution.
- - - - The parents are openminded and cooperative : be honest to them and elaborate together a plan to help the kid both in and outside of class. It could be after school one-on-one tutoring, summer camp, winter camp or extra homework.
        
        The kids progresses. Problem is solved.
        
        The kid doesn't make any progress : meet the parents again and consider extra tutoring after school.
      - The parents seem traditional, stubborn and/or non cooperative : don't talk about special needs. Talk about keeping up with the level of the other kids.
        
        The parents don't want. Talk to the principal and see what he can do.
        
        The parents are willing to do something : try to trick them into doing the same they would do if they were aware of special needs.
