- - - - What the Program Said
        
        The graph on the right is from the Career Voyage Interest Profile program. The program requires me to indicate my answer in order of preference in response to a series of questions, and with these answers, decides my likelihood to prefer one of six types. The program showed that I predominantly preferred type 1 and 2, or biological sciences and medicine. The program told me my resulting personality from fitting in these categories: that I'm someone who likes to work with technical and scientific products, that I'm to use computers and maths to solve problems and that I'm less likely to enjoy writing books and articles, or perform work involving art, architecture or sculpting.
      - My Thoughts
        
        I believe that this program represent some of my values but its' ability to do so is still limited. Though the program correctly shows that I'm interested in mathematics and science, I also wouldn't place reading and appreciating literature at the very bottom of my list. Its' recommended list of jobs and areas of interest remain useful, however, and something which I can use to investigate my potential future jobs further.

        The graph on the left is from the UniSA Career Match Program. The program requires me to complete a series of questions, and based off of my answers, decides the prominence of four qualities - driver, analyser, promotor and supporter. The program returned my most dominant qualities as driver and analyser - people who are usually well-organised and like to think carefully before deciding what to do, and are usually logical thinkers who make great problem solvers. The program went on to recommend me some of my top study areas, these were (in order) business, marketing and law, education, engineering and mathematics.
      - My Thoughts
        
        The Matching Program is less specific than other matching programs that I have used. It matches my strongest traits to two dominant types, and proceeds to give me feedback based off of the standards that anyone of these two traits would presumably also experience. However, the program still proves itself to be quite accurate and valuable in that its' assumptions of my personality and subsequent job choices are similar to my own. For example, I enjoy mathematics and science, so one of the program's job recommendations - mathematics - seems quite fitting to me and may be something I will investigate further.
